Take Back The Night - A March to End Gender-Based Violence

Two years after #METOO became a household hashtag, we continue to battle gender-based and sexual violence. There's still much work to do, and we need our city, provincial and federal representatives to know it's still an issue that needs their attention!

Join us on the front steps of City Hall for Take Back the Night, a community protest & direct action against sexual violence. EVERYONE is welcome. Fashion your own sign or pick up one of ours.

MEET @ City Hall 6:30PM

FINISH back at City Hall, close to everyone's vehicles, because - safety first!

Violence in all its forms undermines our quality of life. No matter where we live, violence and fear have become part of our everyday lives. To change this we need to take action against violence: to speak out against and to change and influence the values and attitudes that affect violence.

We can begin by imagining a life without violence. We can work to make it a reality.

"Week Without Violence" takes place annually during the 3rd week of October.
